Mark 3,7-12

by Fr. Luis A. Zazano

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 3,7-12.

Jesus withdrew toward the sea with his disciples. A large number of people followed from Galilee and from Judea.
Hearing what he was doing, a large number of people came to him also from Jerusalem, from Idumea, from beyond the Jordan, and from the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon.
He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him.
He had cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases were pressing upon him to touch him.
And whenever unclean spirits saw him they would fall down before him and shout, “You are the Son of God.”
He warned them sternly not to make him known.

  1. A need for God: people seek Jesus and follow Him, there are no boundaries or limits.  Today people keep searching and seek Jesus and all efforts in our lives are given to Him. When we give this effort honestly, you enjoy it because He takes care of you.
  2. To heal: Firstly, you seek the encounter with Jesus and the second step is letting Jesus heal you. Letting Jesus inside your heart can heal many wounds and pains. Today make yourself present to Jesus in order to heal.
  3. Son of God: when Jesus is in your heart and when you heal you are truly a son of God. It is here that you find abundance and plenitude. He heals you and He shows His identity. This is the process you must go through, find, heal and identify. Where are you in the process? Can you see yourself in any of these stages?

May God bless you and the name of the Father and of the son and of the holy spirit

Always remember heaven is our goal
