Mark 6, 53-56

by Fr. Luis A. Zazano
Mark 6, 53-56

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 6,53-56

After making the crossing to the other side of the sea, Jesus and his disciples came to land at Gennesaret and tied up there.
As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him.
They scurried about the surrounding country and began to bring in the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
Whatever villages or towns or countryside he entered, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak; and as many as touched it were healed.

To recognize Jesus leads you to heal

1) To cross: this is what Jesus does, He does not stay still. A Christian has the obligation to move within his path of influence. We must go out and do as the evangelists did. Go out without delay or laziness. We must not care if people throw the door in our faces. We must cross and look for our brothers.

2) To touch: it is what comes from need, the need to be healed and loved. Healing comes from the recognition and being touched by God.

3) To heal: We must search Jesus and seek our healing too. There are a lot of sick people of life, and people who are truly hurt in their hearts. Please help save lives and bet on God.

God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Always remember Heaven is our Goal.
