Mark 9,30-37

Mark 9, 30-37

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 9,30-37

Jesus and his disciples left from there and began a journey through Galilee, but he did not wish anyone to know about it.
He was teaching his disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is to be handed over to men and they will kill him, and three days after his death he will rise.”
But they did not understand the saying, and they were afraid to question him.
They came to Capernaum and, once inside the house, he began to ask them, “What were you arguing about on the way?”
But they remained silent. They had been discussing among themselves on the way who was the greatest.
Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the servant of all.”
Taking a child he placed it in their midst, and putting his arms around it he said to them,
Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but the one who sent me.”

Do not escalate for a job, but for heaven

1) Passion: we know that in life everyone has moments of anguish and crisis that make us feel crucified, many live in silence and others take the opportunity to victimize themselves, like they were actors in a play. The road to our passion we must undertake with pride looking up at heaven and letting your brothers accompany you. God is also with you. It is in the journey that you will find Veronica and Mary.

2) The climbs: this is problem in our society and in our Church. I remember a priest that keeps talking about the bishops, what they do in the Church and how they dress. He only wanted to be a bishop. There is a saying that goes tell me of what you speak of and this is what you lack. You do not have to be a scaler of jobs because in your path you will step on others. Look for heaven and reach down to look at your miseries.

3) Be a child: this refers to the fact that we must be innocent, that you have the capacity to lead a simple life. Do not become a stubborn child. Try to build your life from the simple things.

God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Remember: Heaven is our goal!
