John 6,30-35

John 6,22-29

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 6,30-35

The crowd said to Jesus: “What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do?
Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'”
So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
So they said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”

We get inside the bread of life speech

1) We are seeking the objective and we do not see the medium to arrive: I stop in the gospel where it talks about manna. Jesus clarifies who was who gave the manna. It is easy to forget what the finality of things is, and we is might mistake valuing the light bulb more than the light, it provides. Please your focus must be the medium to arrive to the objective. Do not stay without the flask rather fill the flask with content. Seek Jesus and the rest will come.

2) The signs that God puts in our lives are varied: there are many people and situations that God puts in our path. The key is to be aware and awake. You cannot go blind or deaf around you. You must make decisions, because if you do not many situations will overwhelm you. Let the signs of God help you decide, look for them

3) Bread of life: the eucharist is a big sign in our lives. Jesus hold the key to your life. It is important not to forget two important aspects of the Eucharist, celebrate and adore. To celebrate each mass, means Jesus is with us in body and soul. You must take the time to adore him. If you are in need of Him, you must look for Him.
God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Remember Heaven is our goal!
