Mark 3,7-12

Mark 3 7-12

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 3,7-12

Jesus withdrew toward the sea with his disciples. A large number of people followed from Galilee and from Judea.
Hearing what he was doing, a large number of people came to him also from Jerusalem, from Idumea, from beyond the Jordan, and from the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon.
He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him.
He had cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases were pressing upon him to touch him.
And whenever unclean spirits saw him they would fall down before him and shout, “You are the Son of God.”
He warned them sternly not to make him known.

The multitude seeks Jesus; you and I should never stop looking for Him. The search for Jesus implies

1) Knowledge: to search within yourself to know who Jesus really is. One cannot seek out someone you do not know about. Look inside yourself.

2) Humility: you have to be humble to ask for help. Know that God is always there for you; just ask.

3)Conversation: a dialogue between you and God is necessary… to show yourself and let Him transform you. Allow Him to get to know you.
The Eucharist is the key to everything; you come to the tabernacle in order to be transformed. Take time to visit God in the Eucharist.

God-bless you in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Remember, heaven is our goal !
