Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 5,43-48
Jesus said to his disciples: “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same?
And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same?
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
1) Loving: Loving implies giving life and surrendering a part of yourself. This requires resignation and yielding. If you truly love someone, you will have to make a sacrifice on your part. True love implies dying to yourself to live in a relationship. Today, being willing to love means being willing to sacrifice and give up in order to truly win.
2) The enemies: There are people who will often cross you and complicate your life. The problem is when you allow them a privileged place in your life, so that you focus your life and energy on that person who hurt you, forgetting everything else around you. Your life is not reduced to one person or a group of people who harm you. You can learn from those wounds that others have given you. True strength comes from these scars.
3) Perfection: Being perfect is understood here as achieving fullness. It means discovering the best version of yourself. Do not stop because of problems and mistakes, rather, look for what helps you to be that best version of yourself, and strive to grow day by day.
God-bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Remember heaven is our goal !Download Audio
