Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 21, 12-19

Jesus said to his disciples, “But before all this occurs, they will arrest you and persecute you; they will hand you over to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors because of my name. This will give you an opportunity to testify. So make up your minds not to prepare your defense in advance; for I will give you words and a wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to withstand or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, by relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. You will be hated by all because of my name. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your souls.”

Give testimony!

1)Persecution. I believe you already know, but you must have clear that being a Christian means we must fight for what we believe and face tough moments that will make you feel like a fool. In social media, this happens when others try to make you feel ridiculous. To live a life with Christ may lead you to face challenging situations even in your closest circles as people will question your faith. Do not fear, God is with you.

2)Wisdom. It is important not to neglect your prayer as your conversations are with Jesus. In prayer, you begin to build your knowledge, and this will allow you to find the answers or the ways to confront what you must face. It is through prayer that your soul is strengthened and you can grow. Do not stop praying in difficult times – this is when you need them the most.

3)Consistency. Remember that being a Christian is a day-to-day endeavor, where you must fight and learn every day. Do not falter because God is always with you and there is a community that accompanies you as well. Do not give up before time is up, the battle can still be won. Do not give up, you know well the end is resurrection.

God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
And remember, Heaven is our goal!
