Mark 3, 20-21

Mark 3, 20-21

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 3, 20-21

Jesus came with his disciples into the house.
Again the crowd gathered,
making it impossible for them even to eat.
When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him,
for they said, “He is out of his mind.”

Your family= mission zone

1) People seek Him. There are many people seeking Jesus and it is important for you to know that Jesus is present and always replies to our needs. Jesus had apostles and disciples, but he did not have secretaries. He did not turn into a corporation, rather he created a big, enormous family. You must build up your life from the cornerstone that is your family. Strength does not come from wanting to be the marketing executive of the corporation. There is no marketing in the life of God, there is only struggle and the desire to live through his grace.

2) His family. The people closest to Jesus did not believe or trust in Him. This serves as an example that things are not simple even at home. It is a place where it is hard to bring in God and preach. Do not fear, this will be your daily job. But rest assured that you must trust your family and accept the family that God has given you, just as it is.

3) Out of his mind. This is the way Jesus is described by the people closest to Him. If you examine the people who are closest to you, you’ll see they’re usually the ones that can destroy and hurt you the most. This is an obstacle that cannot stop you. You must continue your mission even though there are many who would like you to fail.

God bless you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Remember, heaven is our goal!
