Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 5,43-48
Jesus said to his disciples: “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same?
And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same?
So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
We are contradiction
1) I tell you: Jesus tells us clearly that the walking we have gone through is different. Success is not accomplished by economical triumphs or how many likes we obtain. Our success comes from letting Jesus live within us and that you truly identify with Him. To love is the greatest grandeur a human being can experience. The one who loves, changes lives and is able to look at the world through a different perspective. Jesus proposes love as a way of knowing to put a limit on the person that tries to harm us and not to be contaminated by it. Rather put it away in a chest of that time and that moment and that life is not reduced or defined by that moment. To love is to live life to the fullest and fall in love with love with everything in life.
2) Merit: the supernatural vision is what allows every human being to put difficult times in a chest. The presence of God is what allows us to open our eyes and remind us that life is more that just difficulties. A supernatural life is the one that allows new opportunities and the ability to be eternal. This is what God wants from us. An elephant does not worry because an ant bit him, you are a giant in your life, do not let the small bites get you down. You are called by God to be great. Do not stop, you are a person of faith and we are different because you have God within and the key to life.
3) Perfect: we are called upon to do the best we can do. We are sons of God and this is the greatest dignity we own. You are a person that must face obstacles everyday and sacrifice yourself daily. You are not the owner of the world, but you are the son of the owner, because you are the son of God.
