Brothers and sisters the Lord is risen from the dead. Alleluia!, Alleluia!

It is a time of great joy that changes everything and you know who gets it, St. Mary Magdalen gets it. Right when we hear the story today she’s going to the tomb, it’s it’s so early in the morning, it’s still dark out but darkness isn’t going to stop her. It’s just a little obstacle. She’s going to a tomb, It’s that guards in front of it, she doesn’t care, she’s just gonna go and
confront the guards, the tomb has a big stone, who’s gonna move the stone for me?. She must wonder but you know what maybe the guards will move it, I don’t know I’m just going because my beloved is in the tomb, and I have to get to him so the tomb and the guards and the darkness and the stone don’t stop her. Those obstacles don’t slow it down and you know what not even death the biggest obstacle of all, not even death will stop her from getting to her beloved and on the other side of the stone same thing is going on Jesus Christ wants to get to his beloved and neither the tomb nor the guards nor the stone or the darkness nor
death itself will stop Jesus from being with the ones he loves this is a powerful love story. We see it and fleshed and Mary Magdalene going to see Jesus Christ and it’s the love story that we’re all in right now brothers and sisters.

Jesus Christ wants to be with us passionately, we are beloved to him, nothing can stop him, and so these days were talking about spiritual communion, why? because even, when communion is not available, the normal way for Christ to come to us is through the consecrated bread and wine at the hands of the priest, but even when that’s not possible, he still wants to be with us and still will come to us.

Spiritual communion happens when we let our desires for Christ beat enough, and fill us so much that he responds and is with us as if we had received Holy Communion in our mouths and bodies. The Church gets it just like Mary Magdalene, got it that Jesus wants to be with his beloved and nothing will stop him, not darkness, not stones, not guards, not even
death. He will be with you too Alleluia he is risen!!!

Your Beloved is back from the tomb!
