Evangelio según San Marcos 16,9-15
Jesús, que había resucitado a la mañana del primer día de la semana, se apareció primero a María Magdalena, aquella de quien había echado siete demonios.
Ella fue a contarlo a los que siempre lo habían acompañado, que estaban afligidos y lloraban.
Cuando la oyeron decir que Jesús estaba vivo y que lo había visto, no le creyeron.
Después, se mostró con otro aspecto a dos de ellos, que iban caminando hacia un poblado.
Y ellos fueron a anunciarlo a los demás, pero tampoco les creyeron.
En seguida, se apareció a los Once, mientras estaban comiendo, y les reprochó su incredulidad y su obstinación porque no habían creído a quienes lo habían visto resucitado.
Entonces les dijo: “Vayan por todo el mundo, anuncien la Buena Noticia a toda la creación.”
Go around the world announcing the good news to all of creation
1) Mary Magdalene: She is the person who is merciful. The woman is who considered impure is today a missionary and announcer that Christ has resuscitated. Please do not focus on the fact that people will judge you for the sins committed. Rather look that you are an apostle of resuscitated Christ. You are called upon, to take joy and enthusiasm to all around you.
2) They did not believe: How many times do they announce, and we are non-believers. Also, you sometimes do not believe even yourself. This is not the way! Come on, you can do great things with God and God is always inviting you to participate. He always believes in you, in life and invites you to have God in your heart, always. You and God are a mighty team, please come forward and play your part.
3) Go: Jesus gives you the strength and please go announce it to others. You have a gift by the grace of God because He knows you and you know Him. Do not judge others and do not spend your time fighting with others. Your job is to announce and take Jesus with you everywhere. It is important because we cannot focus on the little things, like for example, if we are singing correctly in mass or if others are doing the right things during mass. There is a unique formula for all and that is Christ.
