While Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.”
He replied, “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”
Happy is the one who walks with you in life
1) A woman: How important is the figure of the woman. It is she who gives us the most beautiful thing that humanity can have: “a son.” It is the woman, in her motherhood, who cultivates virtues and values in the heart of each child. It is worth saying today that in women, God gives us great gifts. Thanks to you women for everything. For your delicacy and closeness, for bringing life to this life, for giving tenderness to an increasingly violent world, and for bringing grace to a world that is constantly in turmoil. Thank you for being so human in the face of a dehumanized world. Thank you women, for being a woman.
2) He raised his voice: Today, as a good Christian, you are invited to raise your voice. Raise your voice for those who are silenced by fear; raise your voice in your prayer for those who do not know God and do not dare to speak to Him. Raise your voice to remember that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Today, your voice is the Gospel, the proclamation of the Good News.
3) Happy Mary: It is in Mary that we see great happiness… the promise announced and authentic. In Mary, we see the woman given to God. In Mary, we see life itself! She is happy and reminds you that you can be happy too. Happy is the one who walks with you in life.
