Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 8,1-4
When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.
And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.”
He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I will do it. Be made clean.” His leprosy was cleansed immediately.
Then Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.”
Yes, God wants it
1) Purify: It is what you look for in life; to get rid of what stains you and makes you feel uncomfortable. Look at what things there are in your life today that make you feel uncomfortable and down. Purify your mind, to strive for the things and processes that you have to go through. Take out what does not help you; those things weighing on you. I know it is difficult, but it is preferable to cry very hard one day than to suffer all the days of your life.
2) God wants: It is good that God wants to help you. He knows that you need help, but come to Him to ask for help. You must ask. He respects your freedom, ask Him, do not get tired of begging him for the help you need. God hears your prayers and invites you to ask him. Today, do not end your day without thanking him and asking him for what you need.
3) Fulfill: It is also to assume your responsibilities… you have to be responsible and remember that in this life there are things that you have to do and need to fulfill. For example, going to mass on Sundays and days of obligation. You have a responsibility to God. Be responsible to Him in your duties and God will be responsible to you. Get started, stay strong and keep going…you can do it!
