Luke 7,18b-23

Luke 7,18b-23

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 7,18b-23

At that time John summoned two of his disciples and sent them to the Lord to ask, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”
When the men came to him, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to you to ask, ‘Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?'”
At that time he cured many of their diseases, sufferings, and evil spirits; he also granted sight to many who were blind.
And he said to them in reply, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind regain their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the good news proclaimed to them.
And blessed is the one who takes no offense at me.”

God shows Himself to us in life

1) Miracles. Tony Melendez has a very interesting story. He is a great singer and a guitar player, with a peculiar characteristic: he does not have arms.
He plays the guitar with his toes. Something he said in an interview touched me deeply. He said, ”When someone tells me they don’t believe in miracles, I look at them, and seeing their arms I say, ‘those are a miracle!’.”
It’s clear: you don’t know what you’ve got until you lose it, but remember, for many you are a miracle just the way you are. Your life is full of miracles: your child, your health, your family…all this is miraculous.

2) Simple and Ordinary. Look for God in the simple, everyday things. Look for the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world; you will find Jesus. God is not found in extraordinary things, rather He appears in the simple ones, in order to make your life extraordinary! Continue to look for Him every day.

God bless you in the name if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Remember Heaven is our goal.
