Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 11, 28-30

Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Go to Him

1) Come to me. When you feel lonely and exhausted, go to Jesus. Find time throughout the day to be with Him; only He can give you the peace of mind and serenity you need. Many people around you may judge you and even make you feel uncomfortable and overwhelmed. Go to Jesus. Be honest before Him and give him all your burdens; He won’t judge you. He knows and understands you.

2) Tired and overwhelmed. Throughout the year there may be times when you feel exhausted, tired, and without strength to continue fighting. Sometimes you feel like quitting, leaving everything behind and saying, “I’m done”. Today, Jesus says that He understands you and that He is with you. What a relief to know that we have a God who understands us and embraces us during our times of need.

3) Relief: There is nothing more beautiful in life than to feel peace and relief. When you feel the peace that only God can give, you feel like a giant able to overcome any obstacle. When you feel peace in your heart, you are free, and whoever feels free becomes eternal.

God bless you and be with you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
And remember, Heaven is our goal!
