Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Jhon 1, 29-34

John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him and said,
“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.
He is the one of whom I said,
‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me
because he existed before me.’
I did not know him,
but the reason why I came baptizing with water
was that he might be made known to Israel.”
John testified further, saying,
“I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from heaven
and remain upon him.
I did not know him,
but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me,
‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain,
he is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Now I have seen and testified that he is the Son of God.”

Tell others who Jesus is

1) He saw Jesus coming: In your everyday life, it’s important to notice, to see Jesus coming towards you, coming closer to you. Open yourself up to Him because it’s Jesus who is looking for you. Perhaps you are the one who is distant, but He always wants to be near you. Let’s take some time to think: what did I do last year that I would like to change in order for this new year to be better?

2) Behold, the Lamb of God: Let’s remember that we are called upon to take Jesus to others, not to bring people towards ourselves. These audios, for example, are not to make a priest well-known; their aim is for you to find Jesus and let Him help you in life. We are the Church and as such, we are called upon to bring Jesus to everyone around us. We are a dynamic Church, on the move, going forth; let’s not allow structures to suffocate us, instead let’s make others aware that Jesus alleviates and soothes. Let’s show Jesus, who comes to take away the burdens of sin.

3) The Holy Spirit: We have been anointed by the Holy Spirit and we must let Him work inside of us. It is the Holy Spirit who touches our heart and moves us, let’s not be afraid to open ourselves to Him and ask Him to fill us with his fire, that fire that burns in our soul and illuminates others. Today we should begin our search to lead others to meet Jesus. Do you have candidates? Who?

God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Don’t forget that something good is on the way!
