Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according Saint Matthew 4, 18-22

As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers,
Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew,
casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen.
He said to them,
“Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
At once they left their nets and followed him.
He walked along from there and saw two other brothers,
James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.
They were in a boat, with their father Zebedee, mending their nets.
He called them, and immediately they left their boat and their father
and followed him.

1. Jesus was walking. You can’t stay still in life.  You have to get out of your comfort zone.  If you really want to find people who will accompany and help you in life and in your mission, you have to go out.  Move, walk, take a chance.  That is what life is all about, walking to see and seeing to walk.  If you are closed in on yourself all the time, you will not see anything or anyone and, therefore, you will find yourself alone and with nothing.  Coming together with others can change your life, don’t forget.

2. They cast the nets. Work dignifies you, but it is also an extensive part of your prayer.  At work you can also meet Jesus and discover that He is by your side.  You must realize that God is everywhere with you, even at work or at university, at home or at school.  But you must make Him a part of your daily life, of your activities, and try to discover God within you, because you can find relief in Him.

3. They followed Him. Getting into this adventure is beautiful.  Being able to alleviate suffering and pain in the lives of others and being able to look at life from another perspective leads you to become aware that everything has a meaning.  When you manage to discover this you can understand that following Jesus is the best thing that can happen to you.  Because following Christ implies giving up some things to announce the Kingdom of God, and that is a great win.

Always remember that something good is on the way!

God bless you, be with you and protect you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
