Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 11, 25-27

At that time Jesus exclaimed:
“I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows the Son except the Father,
and no one knows the Father except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”

I praise you Father

1. I praise you. There are so many things you have in this life to thank and praise God for! Life is just that, praising God, in your everyday struggle. Praise God because you are alive, and you can go on moving forward. Think about what you can praise God for. Don’t let the mistakes of the past drown your present achievements.

2. The childlike. Throughout my life I have come to realize that no one is above anyone else and that a university degree does not make you a giant in life. I have understood that being a priest does not mean that I belong to another dynasty or to royalty, but that I continually receive mercy from God in spite of my spiritual poverty and sinfulness. It’s important to take a serious look at your life and learn to accept who you are. Life is a constant struggle and a constant confrontation, not with enemies that may appear, but a confrontation with yourself, with your fears and limitations. With those same fears that lead you to give up on your dreams and projects. Learn to assume what you are, and you will assume your greatness.

3. Reveal. You must accept this living God who wants to fill you with his love and goodness. Stop throwing garbage at yourself when there’s a God who wants to be with you, to walk along in life with you and heal you. Try to bring out the best in yourself and develop your abilities. Don’t let your pride be greater than your humility. Don’t let your limits block your self-esteem, because you have to live as if every day were your last day. So, learn to embrace God so that He may help you accomplish only one thing: “change”. We always have something to change and something to achieve to be better people. Let’s live every day with God and our example will lead others to praise Him when they see us.

Never forget that something good is on the way!

God bless you and be with you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
