Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 16, 12-15

Jesus said to his disciples:
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth,
he will guide you to all truth.
He will not speak on his own,
but he will speak what he hears,
and will declare to you the things that are coming.
He will glorify me,
because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
Everything that the Father has is mine;
for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine
and declare it to you.”

Spirit of Truth

1. Spirit. We are called to shape our souls in the grace and presence of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit illuminates and strengthens us to strive on in our lives every day. It’s necessary to forge our heart knowing that in life we must face difficult situations in all areas, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. The Holy Spirit aids in overcoming personal challenges. 

2. Truth. Nobody likes to be lied to and as Christians, we are called to live in truth and always tell the truth. That’s where we show ourselves as children of God, living in truth, for lies are very hurtful. Let’s heal ourselves and others in truth and soothe them with charity.

3. Father. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you meditate on what it is to be a child of God and to know that God is your Father, a tender and merciful Father who constantly seeks to enter your life. He is God the Father who goes out to look for you, because He loves you so much!
