Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 13, 44-46

Jesus said to his disciples:
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,
which a person finds and hides again,
and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant
searching for fine pearls.
When he finds a pearl of great price,
he goes and sells all that he has and buys it.”

Life Choice

1. Treasure in a field. Your life involves a search. What you seek is here in this world, but it demands your commitment. Seek your happiness; don’t remain empty-handed, nor wait for everything to come to you. Let go and go out, seek God and seek that very thing that makes you happy, that gives you peace, and that makes you feel good.

2. Full of joy. Having Jesus and knowing where the path to your happiness leads fills you with joy and enthusiasm. Joy serves as the foundation for cultivating inner peace. A heart full of peace remains joyful, because joy and peace are the signs which indicate you’re on the right path. Does what you’re living and doing today give you peace, does it fill you with joy and enthusiasm?

3. Merchant. Learn to establish a certain hierarchy of values that move you toward your goals. That requires you to let go of some things and delve deeper into others. God proposes that you see what you’re willing to lose in order to gain others which are far more valuable.  Learn how to assign value to the things that take you closer to God. He never leaves you, and I warn you that when you truly know him, you’ll never leave him again.

Remember that something good is on the way!

God bless you, be with you and protect you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
