Fr. José Antonio Garcia-Prieto Segura

Father Garcia-Prieto Segura was born in Jarandilla (Cáceres/Extremadura) on November 26, 1937. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Madrid (1961). Doctor of Philosophy from the Lateran University of Rome (1963). Priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei, ordained in Madrid (1964). Rector of the Interregional Center of the Prelature, in Pamplona (1966-1971) and Spiritual Formator in the same Center, from 1994 to 1999, developing, at the same time, a pastoral work with students of the University of Navarra. From 1971 to 1992, he worked at the headquarters of the Prelature of Opus Dei, in Rome, where he lived with Saint Josemaría. He has attended numerous Spiritual Retreat Courses (2003-2013) and since 2013 his priestly work has been carried out in Bilbao. Author of various spiritual articles.
