Matthew 11,20-24

by Fr. Luis A. Zazano
Mathew 11, 20-24-instagram

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 11,20-24.

Jesus began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented.
“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes.
But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
And as for you, Capernaum: ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.’ For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”

God already did things in your life.

1) To rebuke: the gospel begins like this. Rebuking the cities in which most if His miracles had been done; how much Jesus would rebuke us for the things that He has done in us and we do not change. The times that He had save our lives or delivered us from danger. However, sometimes it seems that you like to walk on the cornice and always living on the edge.

2) Conversion: is to change and seek to live in another way, is to change habits and look at things in a different way. I know it’s difficult and it costs a lot, but everything has Its time. Today, what do you have to change? If you tell me nothing, I think we already know where to start, pride.

3) Miracle: God does many miracles in your life and, yourself are a miracle of life. Do not think about extraordinary things, rather look at the ordinary things of life and of your day. Just the fact that you have health and food is a miracle. Let’s go! That life goes fast, today be grateful for the miracle of your life.

God bless you and be with you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Have a good week.
