Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 8,1-10

In those days when there again was a great crowd without anything to eat, Jesus summoned the disciples and said,
My heart is moved with pity for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat.
If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will collapse on the way, and some of them have come a great distance.”
His disciples answered him, “Where can anyone get enough bread to satisfy them here in this deserted place?”
Still he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” “Seven,” they replied.
He ordered the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then, taking the seven loaves he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd.
They also had a few fish. He said the blessing over them and ordered them distributed also.
They ate and were satisfied. They picked up the fragments left over–seven baskets.
There were about four thousand people. He dismissed them
and got into the boat with his disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha.

The indiscreet leper

1) Leprosy: Today there are spiritual lepers. People who have wounds right under the skin and who, being hurt and not healed, end up hurting those who are closest to them. That is why they isolate themselves and end up being isolated by others. These people have a smell as well; they are toxic, because all they do is create tension and cause problems. They don’t enjoy life and they don’t let others enjoy life. They even make others feel bad about things that have nothing to do with them.
I must ask Jesus to heal me from this too, because, there are times when I do this to those around me . I’m constantly looking to start an argument. Even if someone tells me something nice, I often try find a flaw in his story so that he will not be happy. Heal me Jesus!

2) Do not say: Prudence is one of the virtues we must constantly work on. Knowing when to speak and when to keep silent.
For example: notice what you write and post on social networks. Carefully check what you say and to whom; learn to change the subject when it gets difficult, and identify if they just want to get information from someone. Prudence … is needed nowadays!

3) Desert: That moment of solitude Jesus experienced prepared Him for His relationship with the crowd. How important it is to have time to be alone! Don’t allow the hyper-activism in which you live make you forget about yourself. Find your space and your time; your moment to be alone. This will lead you to a better relationship with others later on.

And, remember I owe you this: The three pillars of the Church are: SACRED SCRIPTURE, TRADITION and MAGISTERIUM.
God bless you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit . Remember, heaven is our goal !
