Mark 4, 26-34

Mark 4, 26-34-fb

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 4, 26-34

Jesus said to the crowds:
“This is how it is with the Kingdom of God;
it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land
and would sleep and rise night and day
and the seed would sprout and grow,
he knows not how.
Of its own accord the land yields fruit,
first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once,
for the harvest has come.”

He said,
“To what shall we compare the Kingdom of God,
or what parable can we use for it?
It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground,
is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth.
But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants
and puts forth large branches,
so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.”
With many such parables
he spoke the word to them as they were able to understand it.
Without parables he did not speak to them,
but to his own disciples he explained everything in private.

All the things we do take time

1) The process. Life is a process. The things you do, think and say require a deep analysis. You must remember that everything in life is a process and nothing is accomplished in a day. You require work and time to get things done. By working and waiting you accomplish great things in your life. Like Pope Clement XI said “do things like God did not exist and entrust the things you do to God as if you did not exist.”

2) Actions. Along the path of life there are two axes to consider:
a) Endurance. That refers to situations in which you have to accept things the way they are. You must accept and endure. For example, if your parents behave in a way you do not like, you must accept them as they are and endure.
b) Patience. That refers to situations that you might be able to change and that you decide to work towards changing them. This path needs time so you must be patient and wait. Any change requires time and work, and there is always a need for patience.

3) The Gospel. It is necessary to take the time to search and read the Gospel. You must speak with God and you can use the Bible as the bridge to find Him, and to talk and listen to Him.

God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Never forget that Heaven is our goal.
