Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 3, 16-21

God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,
but whoever does not believe has already been condemned,
because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
And this is the verdict,
that the light came into the world,
but people preferred darkness to light,
because their works were evil.
For everyone who does wicked things hates the light
and does not come toward the light,
so that his works might not be exposed.
But whoever lives the truth comes to the light,
so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.

God so loved the world

1. God’s love.  Yes, God came into your life to remind you that He loves you and to invite you to be part of his work of love. Today, you are the extension of God’s love in this world. You are God’s ambassador here on earth and you are called to show the world that great works can be done with Him. Those who really love, become invincible.

2. The judgment. God proposes that you should live in the light, but the world can lead you to darkness. Of course, there’s a judgment, so don’t let the darkness take hold of you and don’t hide yourself in darkness. Listen to your conscience and don’t justify yourself either. Don’t let darkness blind you.

3. Live in truth. You have much to give but you must live in truth. Whatever you do, do things according to what gives you peace and serenity. Think through what you have to do. Don’t let yourself be carried away by emotions and don’t do things just to look good. Act according to the truth and in the light and forge your happiness from there.

Don’t lose heart, for God is with you and loves you.

Never forget that something good is on the way!

God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
