Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to saint Luke 12, 8-12
Jesus said to his disciples:
“I tell you,
everyone who acknowledges me before others
the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God.
But whoever denies me before others
will be denied before the angels of God.
“Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit
will not be forgiven.
When they take you before synagogues and before rulers and authorities,
do not worry about how or what your defense will be
or about what you are to say.
For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say.”
The Holy Spirit gives life
1. Recognize. God invites us to recognize the beautiful things in life. He is the only one that can do wonders in your life and can satisfy all your needs. That’s when we become witnesses to God’s love and miracles. And we fall in love with life because God is life. When God touches our heart, and we discover Him, we become lovers of life; not because we are religious fanatics but because we have discovered God through others.
2. Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives life, He is the soft breeze that caresses your soul. We cannot forget that our life and our Church are moved by the Holy Spirit. We are a gift to others, and we must all respect the work God does in us and in others through the Holy Spirit.
3. Witnesses of Hope. We are invited to build hope in others. It is possible to recognize the greatness of life through the recognition that God has made everything. I invite you to be a witness of life in the midst of a culture that proclaims and celebrates death. Be a witness of communion in an individualistic world. Be happy in a society marked by sadness. Be helpful to others and be a light to them because each of us is worthy . We are God’s creation!
