Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 12, 44-50

Jesus cried out and said,
“Whoever believes in me believes not only in me
but also in the one who sent me,
and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.
I came into the world as light,
so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness.
And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them,
I do not condemn him,
for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world.
Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words
has something to judge him: the word that I spoke,
it will condemn him on the last day,
because I did not speak on my own,
but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak.
And I know that his commandment is eternal life.
So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”

I am the light

1. Believe and see. These are the two actions that will help you in the path of life, to believe in God and to believe in yourself, and to see God in everyone around you. The key to your life is to know how to see and what to look for, and to know how to see yourself. Ask the Holy Spirit for the strength to know how to handle the truth and to never stop believing and seeing things just as they are, even when life is hard. You must see all things in the truth, in their reality.

2. I am the light. When God enters your life, you have light, and you illuminate others. Don’t stop shining, and that can only be done if you have Jesus in you. It is in the sacraments and in prayer that the fire of love is lit to illuminate and give warmth to this cold world.

3. Eternal life. This is what all of us strive for, eternal life; our goal is to reach heaven. Always keep searching for this objective in life. You are a piece of heaven, so please do not turn yourself into hell.

Remember something good is on the way!

God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
