Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 1, 18-24

This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about.
When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph,
but before they lived together,
she was found with child through the Holy Spirit.
Joseph her husband, since he was a righteous man,
yet unwilling to expose her to shame,
decided to divorce her quietly.
Such was his intention when, behold,
the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said,
“Joseph, son of David,
do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home.
For it is through the Holy Spirit
that this child has been conceived in her.
She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus,
because he will save his people from their sins.”
All this took place to fulfill
what the Lord had said through the prophet:

Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,

which means “God is with us.”
When Joseph awoke,
he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him
and took his wife into his home.

The Origin

1. Mary. She teaches us the importance of letting go and embracing acceptance so that God’s plan can unfold within us. It’s understandable to feel exhausted or burdened at times, but it’s essential to recognize that everything follows its own path and purpose. Trust in the wisdom of time—it brings understanding when the moment is right.

2. Joseph. We all experience fears and anxieties, but it’s important not to allow them to overwhelm or push you to act hastily. Worries and struggles are part of life, yet when we put our trust in God, we can accomplish great things and enrich our way of living. Don’t let concerns steal your dreams or disrupt your life.

3. Us. It’s beautiful to remember that God is always with us and loves us unconditionally. Continue to move forward, confident that God walks beside you and reveals his merciful love. Remember, God never abandons you.

Remember that something good is on the way!

God bless you, be with you and protect you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
