Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 5, 17-19

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets.
I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away,
not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter
will pass from the law,
until all things have taken place.
Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments
and teaches others to do so
will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments
will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.”

1. Abolish. In life, it’s natural to want to bend the rules and push boundaries. However, every action has its consequences and purpose. Rules and boundaries exist to remind us that there’s always a reason behind them—mainly because what we do matters. The real challenge is learning to respect your own limits and the boundaries life sets for you; you simply can’t have everything, and you can’t spend your life constantly crossing lines.

2. The Law. Each of us has a purpose and a responsibility. The main thing is to learn from your experiences, since you develop your own guidelines for living and your life’s structure based on what you’ve been through. Don’t let passing emotions or fantasies distract you from reality, and don’t invent a make-believe version of your life. Keeping your feet on the ground is a huge part of this.

3. Greatness. True greatness in life comes from fulfilling your responsibilities. Learn to accept your reality. Don’t forget that life is a commitment—embrace it with everything it entails. Keep searching for peace but remember that true peace comes from understanding and accepting the boundaries of your reality.

Remember that something good is on the way!

God bless you and guard you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
