Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 15, 9-11

Jesus said to his disciples:
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.

“I have told you this so that
my joy might be in you and
your joy might be complete.”

The Gospel of the Lord

God’s love

1) Remain. Remaining in His love means a lot for you and me. It means concentrating on what fulfills our life and makes us happy. Don’t take on too many matters at the same time in your life. When you want to do millions of things but deep down you don’t do a single one of them, you lose your happiness. Learn to focus and to say: “no”. Remain in God’s presence, being clear about what you want for your life and what you don’t.

2) Keep my commandments. We comply with God’s will out of love, not rituals or appearances. We keep God’s commandments through love itself; loving life and loving what you have and those who are with you. Sometimes your focus is on the things you don’t have and that leads you to forget what you do have. Your life goes further. Value what you have and love those around you.

3) Joy. Jesus wants your joy to be complete and allow you to be authentic. Today, are you enjoying your life or are you only focusing on your worries? Joy or sadness and complaints are in your hands. What do you choose? You decide. Always remember something good is on the way!

God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
