“Holy Mass is the best”

Holy-Mass

From Uruguay and Argentina they send us these two testimonies which speak of the profound joy of attending Mass, receiving the Eucharist again. Second installment of this series of articles about going to mass in times of pandemic.

My name is Teresita, I attend mass daily as well as participate in service groups and at 71 years of age I have never experienced moments like the present. It was a huge shock. From one day to the next, I had to stay at home because I was a person vulnerable to this pandemic and that made me feel great pain because I could not receive the Eucharist as I used to. But the Virgin’s messages made me get into silence and prayer as She asks us to do.I never prayed as much as I do now. The great lesson for me is that prayer is powerful and can achieve everything.

Being able to participate in the Holy Mass, Adoration, praying of the Holy Rosary, online talks, is extremely gratifying in these times of isolation.
I persevere day by day in patience and I hope that in these moments of difficulty many knees will bend and many hearts will break to God’s Love and that this leaves us a great teaching.

Great emotion

When the celebration of Mass was reauthorized in Uruguay, I had the joy of being able to do it on the day of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It was great emotion to be able to live, feel and receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. THE HOLY MASS IS THE BEST!!
For this and more I ask God that I persevere on this sometimes difficult path; wishing to love Him like He does, to look with His eyes and be at the service of those in need, in order to achieve HOLINESS.
I praise, bless and adore our Lord, hand in hand with the Blessed Mother who is the safest way to reach Jesus and who makes me feel very blessed.

Blessed Sunday

Blessed Sunday. I share with you this prayer mentioned by the priest of my Sacred Heart of Jesus parish -whose photo illustrates this article- in today’s mass. After months I went to confession and took Holy Communion. It filled me with joy. I once again felt the joy of praising God just for the grace of allowing me to “sow”; which is what He calls us to do. The time to “reap” will come by His providence. Today is the time to act with love. Participating in the celebration gave me a lot of peace and encouraged me to live my daily life differently.
