Luke 21,29-33

Luke 21 29-33

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 21,29-33

Jesus told his disciples a parable. “Consider the fig tree and all the other trees.
When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near;
in the same way, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

Everything passes

1) A famous person in Argentina had a phrase engraved on his ring which is a common thought for many. It said “everything passes.”
I think we have to take a good look at that phrase; remember that everything in life passes and the only thing that never passes, is God. God is the only stable, constant in our life.
Sometimes we worry too much about things that are passing and unstable; those things that have an end… but we neglect things that are eternal, for example: meditating the Word. This practice will help you your entire life.

2) Remember everything passes. If you are having a great time, I remind you, “everything passes”.
If you are going through tough times, I remind you, “everything passes.”

3)I will pass too. Your friends and family will pass too, but the only one left is God. It is He who will give you the strength to face all those moments in life. Don’t forget that “everything passes”, but He is eternal.
God-bless you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Remember heaven is our goal.
