John 8 21-30

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 8,21-30

Jesus said to the Pharisees: “I am going away and you will look for me, but you will die in your sin. Where I am going you cannot come.”
So the Jews said, “He is not going to kill himself, is he, because he said, ‘Where I am going you cannot come’?”
He said to them, “You belong to what is below, I belong to what is above. You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world.
That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.”
So they said to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “What I told you from the beginning.
I have much to say about you in condemnation. But the one who sent me is true, and what I heard from him I tell the world.”
They did not realize that he was speaking to them of the Father.
So Jesus said (to them), “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I AM, and that I do nothing on my own, but I say only what the Father taught me.
The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do what is pleasing to him.”
Because he spoke this way, many came to believe in him.

I am

1) Rejection: Jesus is rejected for his actions and his way of thinking. Today do you act according to the will of God or do you disguise yourself to be liked by everyone at the cost of losing your vocation, your authenticity and even what you love the most? Today you have to look at those who walk with you in this life and remember that you have a lot to do in this life and it is up to you to fight for what you love and for what God gives you as your mission in this world.

2) Transcendental vision: is looking beyond the sky. Looking up. Today do not let this plague lead you to look only at the earth, but see the hand of God because something good is going to come. From all this we have to learn a lesson. Here we are fighting side by side to get ahead together.

3) Who are you? That is the question I am asking you today. Who are you? Because you have changed so much since you were so little. And yes, you have changed … because man is a dynamic being, but I am sure that there is something beautiful in you and that which is beautiful in you is to be contributed here, in this world to help us all to be happy.

God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And always remember, Heaven is our goal!
