Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 11, 25-27
At that time Jesus exclaimed:
“I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows the Son except the Father,
and no one knows the Father except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”
To the childlike and the humble
1. I praise you. There are so many things you have in this life to thank and praise God for. Infinite! Because you manage to live and come to understand that you only have one life to live. It is important to take risks and not to worry about failure. The decisions you are making help you grow and for that you should praise God. Let’s learn to have fun with what comes our way in life and let’s not fall into criticizing all the time. Concentrate on your objectives. Whoever is at peace with their life has no time to criticize. “All criticism is a reflection of your own character”, so rather than criticize, praise!
2. Know. Getting to know God is a way of living and of knowing that there is a path and an objective in life. This knowledge leads you to go deep into yourself. “Lord that I may know you; Lord that I may know myself”. It is important to have your moments of solitude, your space, and your time. Cherish that moment of getting to know yourself and God better.
3. Reveal. Share your life, and don’t lose contact with reality. Learn to listen; do away with judgment, and truly communicate with others in order to learn from them. Everyone has something from God. That’s also a way God reveals Himself to us. Try to bring out the best in yourself; develop your abilities and see what you can do best. Don’t let your pride be greater than your humility. Don’t let your limits block your self-esteem, because you have to live as if every day were your last day. “The brave cannot live forever, but the coward does not live at all.” Don’t live in nostalgia. Live every day with God and your example will lead others to praise Him when they see you.
God bless you and be with you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Never forget that something good is on the way!
