Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 3, 20- 21
Jesus came with his disciples into the house.
Again the crowd gathered,
making it impossible for them even to eat.
When his relatives heard of this they set out to seize him,
for they said, “He is out of his mind.”
Those close to Him
- He returned home. It’s always valuable to reconnect with yourself—whether through nurturing your spirituality, enjoying quiet moments alone, reading, or simply sipping coffee or tea on your porch or balcony. These times are essential for your well-being and especially for your soul, serving as an “anchor” that grounds you in your true essence and identity.
- People. Some individuals will always pose a challenge, as many around you seek you out, and many who seek you out will end up surrounding you. Without clear boundaries, others may increasingly intrude on your life. That’s why it’s crucial to find and defend your own space and time—those moments that are non-negotiable. People will often try to claim your time for themselves, so it’s up to both you and me to protect those personal moments.
- To seize Him. Inevitably, there will be people close to you who try to undermine you. Those nearest to us can be the most hurtful, because they know our weak spots—they are often the ones who criticize or attempt to bring us down. For this reason, it’s wise to be careful about what you share and when you open up to those around you. Your peers may be the ones who judge or attack you most, but don’t let that deter you. Stay focused and continue with the mission God has given you.
Remember that something good is on the way!
God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
