Matthew 11,28-30

by Fr. Luis A. Zazano
Matthew 11, 28-30

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 11,28-30.

Jesus said to the crowds: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

The weight is light

1) Come: Jesus invites you today to be with Him. It is a calling to have a close relationship with Jesus that will allow you to grow and confront any problem that comes your way. It is hard to be with Jesus since we are free to choose and hold any lifestyle we want. Any choice implies resignation of other things and we must hold a position in the decision taken. Today Jesus invites you and what he offers is protection since He wants you to belong to Him.

2) Tired and overwhelmed: this refers to our fatigue, who is not tired at this point of the year? Some cannot wait for the year to end since many have experienced many awful hits. But for we as Christians we see all opportunities that are possibilities to grow and seek Jesus further, as we choose to be with Him in all aspects of life. Today we invite you to seek Jesus to deliver all your fatigue and distress to God. Today think of all the things that take away your Peace and willingly share your burden with God.

3) Relief: This relief comes from God. Today He wants to relieve your pain and problems. How many of us seek to alleviate our hearts? Allow God to hug you tenderly and share His Peace. Seek these aspects that fulfill your heart with Love. Look for God to be your remedy and strength.

God bless you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
And remember, Heaven is Our Goal !

Your contribution help us to continue with our mission
God Bless You!
