At that time Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
And behold, a Canaanite woman of that district came and called out,
“Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David!
My daughter is tormented by a demon.”
But he did not say a word in answer to her.
His disciples came and asked him,
“Send her away, for she keeps calling out after us.”
He said in reply,
“I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
But the woman came and did him homage, saying, “Lord, help me.”
He said in reply,
“It is not right to take the food of the children
and throw it to the dogs.”
She said, “Please, Lord, for even the dogs eat the scraps
that fall from the table of their masters.”
Then Jesus said to her in reply,
“O woman, great is your faith!
Let it be done for you as you wish.”
And her daughter was healed from that hour.

Jesus doesn’t stop

1. A Canaanite woman. Jesus doesn’t care about labels or résumés. Jesus cares about people. That’s what I think we have to keep in mind in life. Let’s stop looking at others considering their résumés and let’s learn to make life a little better for the people around us.  This woman had a sick daughter and went out to seek help from Jesus. Many people go out to seek Jesus because they can no longer cope or because they are distressed by the lives of those they love. I’m thinking of desperate parents who seek help in faith and religion, people who are in pain and seek Jesus. Let’s get busy because they need us, let’s take company and comfort to others. Let’s take Jesus.

2. She calls out. The apostles don’t understand the woman’s pain, they’re disturbed by her cries. Many times, you may resent the pain of others, instead of sympathizing with them. Take them to Jesus, and never lose the ability to make people who need you feel good.

3. Great is your faith. Faith can help you to live differently. Faith can give answers, it can encourage you to move forward. Today I’d like to invite you to live your faith and that your faith be a living faith. I encourage you to keep fighting for what you want and love. I want you to be happy, but with God at your side, and I want you to dare to face life and that God should be your companion and the witness of your life. Faith can change everything, and you can change everything with faith.

Remember that something good is on the way!

God bless you and protect you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
