Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 11, 25-27
At that time Jesus exclaimed:
“I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
for although you have hidden these things
from the wise and the learned
you have revealed them to the childlike.
Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.
All things have been handed over to me by my Father.
No one knows the Son except the Father,
and no one knows the Father except the Son
and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”
Praise God
1. I praise you . Thank God for everything that has happened and is happening to you. Life involves recognizing and accepting past experiences, whether positive or negative. Because all experiences are valuable: bad things are good to learn from and to draw a lesson to grow, and good things help you to understand that you’re making your way as you go along. Thank God for everything you’ve lived and for what lies ahead, and don’t be afraid of approaching risks, because life is meant to be lived and everything is a risk, even staying still.
2. Little ones. I’ve gradually become aware that this life is about understanding that it is the little things that make you enthusiastic and joyful. I’ve understood that a thoughtfully prepared salad, made with love for you, can be more meaningful than any gourmet dish, and that an attentive look and a genuine smile are greater than any financial asset. Simple things are the ones that lead you to enjoy life, whereas complex matters tend to create complications.
3. The Father. God the Father appears in your life, and you must relate to this God of life, from closeness and the desire to live. Focus on living fully. Embrace each day as an opportunity to experience life, ensuring that you make the most of every moment.
Never forget that something good is on the way!
God bless you and be with you, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
