Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 3, 31-36
The one who comes from above is above all.
The one who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of earthly things.
But the one who comes from heaven is above all.
He testifies to what he has seen and heard,
but no one accepts his testimony.
Whoever does accept his testimony certifies that God is trustworthy.
For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God.
He does not ration his gift of the Spirit.
The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life,
but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God remains upon him.
The Gospel of the Lord
Above all
1. Your gaze. Easter encourages us to reflect and realize that renewal is necessary. Don’t just focus on material, earthly, or everyday concerns. Lift your eyes! I’m not talking about mystical experiences, but about the things that shape your life. Recognize the greatness and wonder of living; appreciate how amazing it is to have a family. Don’t dwell on problems and pain. The true value of life comes from the fact that it is life itself—not from circumstances or the people around you.
2. Enjoy. Appreciate the simple moments and enjoy the little things. Nothing truly worthwhile comes without effort. To find joy in life, it’s important to recognize your limits—which starts with understanding yourself. Knowing yourself is the first step to being happy. Don’t ignore what’s right in front of you and remember to stay grounded even as you aim high. We all have aspects of ourselves we don’t see clearly. That’s why it’s good to accept help from others, as it can reveal your true self, even if it’s uncomfortable.
3. Believe. Remember that God is always with you and that He wants what’s best for you, He wants you to be happy. Don’t be afraid to face your future; don’t let the fear of failure hold you back and don’t be afraid of God. Through his Son, He promised that you will always be loved!
Remember that something good is on the way!
God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
