Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 16, 12-15
Jesus said to his disciples:
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
But when he comes, the Spirit of truth,
he will guide you to all truth.
He will not speak on his own,
but he will speak what he hears,
and will declare to you the things that are coming.
He will glorify me,
because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
Everything that the Father has is mine;
for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine
and declare it to you.”
Much more to tell you
1. Understand. Throughout life, you gradually gain insight, often only as time passes. Recognizing that your journey is a process, you realize that choices and actions—whether your own or made for you—may have once been painful or confusing but now begin to reveal their purpose. Time helps you comprehend, but a spiritual perspective is what helps you fully understand and internalize what you’ve gone through. Everything has its reason, and reflecting on the past helps you see why events occurred as they did. The experiences you’ve had have contributed to who you are now, and with God’s guidance, your life can positively influence others.
2. Truth. Many times, we choose to live in a lie or avoid facing reality because we fear the discomfort or pain it may bring. Yet, life urges us to embrace truth. Facing the truth might be painful, but as time goes on, it helps you recover and eventually find peace. Making the decision to accept reality is essential to living genuinely. Living in truth brings lasting peace, whereas living in falsehood provides only brief or fictitious peace—because, ultimately, it’s based on a lie.
3. He will glorify. God’s glory is found in your happiness, which comes from living in His presence. Happiness goes beyond an emotion; it’s an attitude and a way of life—being passionately engaged with life, even when facing hardships. Always keep your gaze upward, because seeing life from a higher perspective transforms how you view everything below.
Remember that something good is on the way!
God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
