Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 17, 20-26

Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed saying:
“I pray not only for these,
but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
so that they may all be one,
as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
that they also may be in us,
that the world may believe that you sent me.
And I have given them the glory you gave me,
so that they may be one, as we are one,
I in them and you in me,
that they may be brought to perfection as one,
that the world may know that you sent me,
and that you loved them even as you loved me.
Father, they are your gift to me.
I wish that where I am they also may be with me,
that they may see my glory that you gave me,
because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Righteous Father, the world also does not know you,
but I know you, and they know that you sent me.
I made known to them your name and I will make it known,
that the love with which you loved me
may be in them and I in them.”

Evangelize

1. Prayer. It’s important to understand that evangelization starts on your knees. Prayer is essential if you want to bring others to Jesus. Don’t let constant busyness make you lose sight of the heart of the message. Too often, the Church puts more emphasis on workshops and meetings rather than prayer as a community or Eucharistic adoration. The true power and endurance of evangelization come from prayer and adoration—a lesson emphasized by Saint Carlo Acutis and Saint Teresa for years.  Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta believed that her service to the poorest of the poor was only possible through intimate connection with Jesus in the Eucharist: “During a Holy Hour our love for Jesus becomes more intimate, our love for each other more understanding, and our love for the poor more compassionate”.

2. Unity. Jesus continues to remind us that praying for unity among Christians is essential. It’s more important to strive for genuine unity than simply spending time in meetings. Our mission is to realize that Christ redeemed everyone, and we are called to come together regardless of our sins or backgrounds. Each person has the chance to encounter Christ.

3. With Him. Go back to Jesus. He alone leads us to eternal life. We need to return to Him, remembering that everything we do is for Him and through Him. If you lose sight of this, you start seeking satisfaction in other things—like power or pleasure. Always remember that our lives are meant to be lived in Christ, through Christ, and for Christ.

Remember something good is on the way.

God bless you and be with you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
